If you plan to watch this episode, do not read the following
article until you have watched it. Ok realistically I can’t stop you, but there
are SPOILERS below. You have been warned.
“A Man Without Honour” was the best episode so far of the
second season and the last 15 minutes were the best stretch of 15 minutes in
the entire series.
After Theon fails in his search for Bran and Rickon around
Winterfell, he ends up in nearby farm where one of his men finds walnut shells
(maybe from Rickon’s walnuts as seen earlier in the episode). At the end of the
episode, Theon reveals Winterfell two small brunt bodies hanging from ropes,
resembling the two Stark boys to the people of Winterfell. Now I’m not certain
that those bodies belong to Bran and Rickon, since Bran seemed reluctant to go
to the farm (and he’s smart enough not to), but in case they are I confirm that
Theon has completely lost it. I still don’t understand his motif is except to
impress his father and sister, because everything he’s done after he took over
Winterfell has been pretty retarded. I really wanted to research to see if Bran
is still alive, but had to stop myself, because I don’t want to encounter any
spoilers. Anyways, I hate Theon and I really hope that Bran has managed to
escape.
