The end is looming, and I don't know if there has ever been a series finale with so much ground to cover, and so many problems to resolve. This last episode resulted in a decent conclusion for both Turtle and Drama, but left Ari's and E's story still undecided.
Vince's courtship of Sophia is an interesting twist as we reach the end of Entourage. However, I don't like the fact that the writers and producers left so little time to develop a love interest which appears to be more serious than any one which has preceded it. Never the less, Sophia is the type of girl who separate's herself from all of Vince's ex's as she appears to be the complete package.
Turtle's idea for the restaurant became an incredibly tall task after the realization that the owners of the original one are complete douche bags. I can't stress how much that couple has annoyed me throughout the past two episodes. But, their annoying personalities resulted in Turtle having to go back to his investors (Strahan, Amare, Tax, and A-Rod) for more money which was very entertaining.
This episode brought back some vintage Ari. His conversation with Lloyd regarding Phil YAGODA was great, and his random snaps throughout the episode were very entertaining. I am very intrigued with what his fate will be at the end of the finale. My prediction is that he will retire from being an agent in order to save his marriage.
E's romance with Melinda Clarke has been eventful and unpredictable, but has really set him back with Sloane. Johnny Galecki's cameo has brought back memories of E's rivalry with Seth Green in the earlier seasons, and has made for some good dialogue. The last scene of the episode was certainly a shocker. Sloane revealed that she is pregnant yet still moving to New York. With that being the case, my prediction is that E will move back to New York as well and eventually get back together with her.
I am definitely happy to see things ending well for Drama and Walsh. They have been two of my favourite characters since the beginning and both went through their fair share of tough times. Turtle also got a great ending with Vince bailing him out on his bad decision to sell his stock in Avion.
Aside from Drama and Turtle, none of the other main character's problems have been resolved yet. The writers have certainly left a small window for themselves to wrap up the series, and hopefully they will be able to do so. Jeremy Piven publicly stated in an interview that the series finale could be his favourite episode of all time, I hope it turns out to be mine as well.
Until next time,
Stevan "Sauce" Manojlovic
