All right, the E-mail thing is actually making up for a lack of 'jerzdays'. We pick up where we left off from last time, first my thoughts:
-Do you find Brittany good looking? I'm on the fence
If I were a coffee drinker and had to go through the process JWOWW did just to get a cup of coffee I would have gone to a cafe and just ordered, that just seems like the logical thing to me. I mean, you're already in Italy, and you've been lost once, why not go out and try to familiarize yourself with your surroundings by going and finding a place to eat/get coffee? On that topic, I thought Situation;s face was hilarious when the girls offered to cook, was it just me or did anyone else get the sense that he was a little mad that his signature cooking scenes would be taken away? The fact that the girls went out in the middle of cooking and then got offended when they came back was a little weird to me. I mean, if you volunteer to cook you're in it for the long haul, don't get offended because you were incompetent. I don't know why I care but it might have something to do with the fact that I work in a kitchen, Oh well. We had the Pauly and Deena story continue, and in my opinion, Pauly does not want it. His reasoning that it could turn into the Vin-Snook 'situation' (how is there not another word) is very solid, but at the same time I think he is also using it as an excuse. I wont get into too much right now because I'd rather get into the questions:
-Do you find Brittany good looking? I'm on the fence
-Did Deena's first fall remind you of A.I. crossing Antonio Daniels? For some reason it was the first thing I thought of
-I predicted episode 3, but it took just 2 episodes for 'SamRon' to rear its ugly head, how do you see this playing out? Do you even want to answer this question? If you don't that's completely fine
-finally, have Vinnie and Paulie given us a new saying? If... Then She too young for you! (it has a nice ring to it, like he cant guard you!!!)

Ah single Ronnie, its a shame that we won't be seeing him much after this episode. I could watch him yell drunkenly to Vinny about his sexual conquests (4 girls in 3 days), fall over sideways in the street, and come out of the washroom with toilet paper somehow stuck to his eyelid for the rest of the season. But as you said things aren't looking good in that sense and the return of SamRon seems imminent (although I was happy to see Ronnie decline Sam's invitation to snuggle, Ronnie from last season is in bed and crying with Sam in a heartbeat). I thought this week's episode was fairly solid. Nothing too interesting happened but nothing that was annoying/unwatchable happened either. Sitch was the first one to bring back a girl into the smush room and to answer your question I have no idea how attractive she is due to the way the show is filmed. She could be anywhere from a 1 to a 10. I am still finding the Situation's apparent crush on Snooki a little weird and as hinted on by the scenes from the next episode, this won't end well. I think Pauly is handling the Deena situation well because he clearly has feelings for her simply as a friend and doesn't want anything to escalate. Considering #she'stooyoungforyoubro was and still is a top trending topic on twitter I think it's fair to say that Vinny and Pauly have coined another catchphrase that will be overused in about 2 weeks. One final point about this episode and this season in general is the absence of Jwoww. If she hadn't paid a doctor for certain enhancements, would anyone even know she was there? To answer your other questions: Deena falls way too much for me to compare any of her tumbles to an Allen Iverson crossover and I think it's fair to say that Ronnie and Sam will play out pretty much the same way as it always has. Hugging, cuddling, smushing, crying, yelling, screaming with a potential for some domestic abuse-like qualities that are hard to watch all the while taking away precious airtime from the others. Just a few questions for you
Over/under # of times Deena falls next episode How big is Ronnies watch?
How many different colours of sweatpants can Mike possibly own?
Why do they have to go to work in Italy? Id rather see more scenes of them partying than working at a pizzeria.
And lastly a more serious one, who do you think will have the most success post jersey shore? the least? I think Pauly has the best chance at success since he has the only skill that translates into an actual job (DJ-ing), he has one of the two spin-off shows that will air after next season and he just recently signed a 3-album deal with G-Unit (not the powerhouse they once were but still impressive). I think the least chance at success post-show has to go to Ronnie and Sam followed closely by the t-shirt owner from Jersey.

Deena falls exactly 3 times next episode, so Ill set the O/U at 3.5 to make it interesting Ronnie's watch was almost as big of a shock as it was to see Vinnie and Paulie playing chess (huge) No idea, I saw yellow, green and blue so far, Im saying he has enough to fill the colour spectrum You make a compelling case for Paulie, and I have to agree with you, its hard to argue against him he is the logical pick. I do think that a Paulie and Vinnie combination would do very well, but in the interest of the reader ill try to argue for another cast mate: Situation. He is the most business savvy out of the crew, and as of now he gets paid the most to appear in clubs, so there must be some appeal to him. Does he have enough appeal to hold his own show? Maybe. Will he try to live off of his Jersey shore success? Absolutely. It will be very interesting to see how everyone's post-shore career pans out, but I find it very difficult for JWOWW, and SamRon to remain relevant. Just look at Angelina, no one cares about her anymore, once you leave the show you might just be done. Yeah, single Ronnie was nice while it lasted, and I was actually very surprised he resisted the urge to slam Sammie again. It looks like what his buddies told him at the start of the season actually might stick. As for Situation and Snooki, they really do have a weird dynamic. You almost get the sense that she has legitimate feelings for him when she was jealously making fun of his hook-up. At the same time, Mike really should not be approaching her on a filmed (possibly scripted) show to express his feelings, if he legitimately likes the girl, then maybe telling her this stuff at this time is not the best of ideas. Not the best Situation performance in terms of approaching this. Ironically, if he stuck to his seasons 1-3 game plan (find anyone DTF) I think he would have won Snooki over through sheer jealousy alone. Oh well. One thing we glossed over a little bit was Pauly calling Deena out. Mike must actually be a really good friend for Pauly to openly call her out in front of everyone. I thought this was actually a legitimate thing I might do for a friend, and also Vinnie telling SamRon exactly how unbearable they are when they get drunk and start talking about their relationship got an exclamation of: "FINALLY" from me, good stuff. Lastly, I do not know why MTV keeps pushing this "work" gimmick, no one really cares when it comes down to it. Ill end my segment of this exchange with the last round of questions:
Do you think that the: no TV and no cell phone dynamic is a good thing or bad? That is to say, would a show like jersey shore benefit from allowing the cast to have these things? Why/Why not?
Why do the after-shows suck? I mean you would think that the cast talking about the happenings to each other would be interesting (as me and you are right now) but it is truly awful, would they benefit more from having fans discuss the episodes?
Why did we not do a jersey shore fantasy league? Not to go into too much detail, but we could have had some legitimate fun with it. Categories could have included: hook ups, arguments, falls, fights, drama starting, cooking, crying, and catch-phrases. Alas

The no tv/cell phone gimmick is an absolute necessity because it forces them to interact way more than they normally would. Although it would be interesting seeing what type of shows all of them watch. Im going to guess that most of the cast wouldn't be watching Mad Men or Breaking Bad and the Situation's favourite show would be The Situation Room (easy joke to make but i feel it had to be done). The after shows suck because no one wants to hear the castmates narrate what happened in the episode. I feel we'd hear a lot of "oh man i was so smashed that night" and "that girl was a grenade!" type of quotes that wouldn't do anything to improve the show and might even give the show a feel of over-exposure. I even think that most post-game shows for sports are meaningless and the only time that any type of post-game/show show works is when the host(s) are great and add something to it with the TNT crew (Ernie, Kenny, Charles, Mchale or Garnett) being the best example of this and the girl that does the jersey shore after-shows being the worst (seriously I think that is the one host of anything that brings down the entertainment value of a show to that extent, just terrible). As for your last question I have no good answer as we absolutely should have done one. It would have added an extra dimension to the viewing experience and with no Fantasy basketball this year (most likely), it could have filled that niche. The draft order after watching the first 2 episodes and the scenes from this season would have to be 1.Snooki 2.Deena 3.Ronnie 4.Sitch 5.Pauly 6 Vinny and Sammie (tie) 2234. Jwoww
